Dr Smith has performed thousands of glaucoma laser procedures and surgeries, as well as over 5000 cataract phacoemulsification and intraocular lens (IOL) implantation surgeries.
Dr Smith’s goal for the Eye Health Clinic in Bermuda is to live up to his exacting, professional standards, but also provide a base for sub-specialist oculoplastic aesthetic, cornea and retina treatments that many patients have had to seek overseas care for previously.
Jake is an alumnus of Oxford University, Sandhurst Royal Military Academy, Cambridge Medical School, and Moorfields Eye Hospital. He undertook prestigious glaucoma fellowships at King’s College and St Thomas’ Hospitals in London, and Geneva University Hospitals, Switzerland.
