Ophthalmologist

Dr Georgios Siskos is a general ophthalmologist specialising in refractive cataract surgery. His exceptional dedication and skill earned him the opportunity to perform high-volume cataract surgery from the age of 25. By the age of 32 his commitment to excellence was internationally recognised, when he was invited to develop and lead the educational program of the Greek College of Ophthalmology regarding the surgical subspecialty of cataract. Today, he owns and directs the most sought-after ophthalmology practice in central Greece, renowned for its patient-focused care and excellent outcomes.

Georgios is characterised by education and progress. His background includes a Master’s degree in Ophthalmology, a Master’s degree in Medical research and a highly prestigious Postgraduate Diploma in Refractive cataract surgery. He is an active member of ESASO and a Fellow of the European Board of Ophthalmology.

Beyond refractive cataract surgery, Georgios has a particular interest in eyelid and ocular surface tumors, a field he refined during his fellowship at the world-renowned Royal Victoria Eye and Ear Hospital in Dublin, Ireland. Given the uniqueness of this subspecialty expertise, he went on to become the sole Neuro-ophthalmology and Oculoplastics-Reconstructive surgery fellow in Ireland.

Consequently, at the age of 33 he was invited to lead the Ophthalmology Reconstructive service of the University Hospital of Örebro in Sweden and later the Ophthalmology Reconstructive service of DFEC in the Cayman Islands.

Georgios is committed to providing honest advice and the highest standard of care. Book a consultation today and he will examine your eyes, provide a clear diagnosis, and offer the best possible treatment tailored to your problems and needs.
